Rockwell Group and Gensler Design Mexico's New CAR Football Center

The Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) of the Mexican Football Federation, redesigned by Rockwell Group with Gensler, sets a new global standard for high-performance training. The 21,714 m² facility in Mexico City optimizes operations, well-being, and athletic performance, aiming to inspire pride and prepare national teams for historic achievements. Lead architects Federico Montero and Omar Quesada head the project, with a design team including Erick Martinez, Mariana Vasquez-Colmenares, Daniela Ortega, Efren Obregon, and Edrey Gonzalez. Technical support comes from Jose Antonio Chong and Julieta Boy. The project is curated by Valentina Díaz and photographed by Cesar Belio. Completion is scheduled for 2026.
