Rocket Espresso and Audi Reinterpret the TT as a Hand-Built Coffee Machine

architecture-design · 2026-09-24

Rocket Espresso, in collaboration with Audi and Valerio Cometti + V12Design, has introduced the Rocket x Audi, a meticulously crafted espresso machine inspired by the Audi TT, which ceased production three years ago after shaping Audi's aesthetic for 25 years. Founded by Andrew Meo and Daniele Berenbruch, Rocket Espresso specializes in producing small-batch machines for coffee lovers. The Rocket x Audi boasts a dual-boiler system, a rotary pump, and a design that reflects the TT's proportions and textures, featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen interface with icons. Valerio Cometti, a mechanical engineer with experience designing for La Cimbali and Faema, has also worked with Ferrari, contributing to this fusion of Italian espresso craftsmanship and German design.
