Rimowa Launches Umber and Ultramarine Suitcase Colourways with Campaign Starring Joe Alwyn
Rimowa, the esteemed German luggage brand, has unveiled two fresh seasonal colors, Umber and Ultramarine, within its Groove and Essential suitcase lines. These hues, crafted from natural pigments to honor earthy tones, complement Ink Blue, which was introduced to the Original collection earlier this year. Umber, a warm tone derived from the Latin 'Umbra,' signifies shadow and is traditionally the first layer in painting, while Ultramarine, a rich blue, recalls the vibrant pigment favored by Renaissance artists. The Essential range features these colors on every suitcase component, including zippers, handles, and logo badges. In the Groove range, the shades are applied to the Cross-Body Bag, Zipped Pouch, and the new compact Groove Mini Shopping Bag. Accompanying this launch is a campaign featuring English actor Joe Alwyn, showcasing a young artist in a studio, inspired by the new colors. The colorways are currently available for purchase, starting at 770€, through RIMOWA.com and retail locations globally.
