Rhea Dillon's 'Traces' Opens at COOPER COLE, Toronto

Traces, a solo exhibition featuring the work of London-based artist, writer, and poet Rhea Dillon, will be hosted by COOPER COLE. This marks Dillon's inaugural solo exhibition with the gallery and her first in Canada, set to launch on May 21, 2025. Born in 1996, Dillon recently received the 2025 Baloise Art Prize at Art Basel and participated as a fellow in the Elaine G. Weitzen Studio Program at the Whitney Museum's Independent Study Program for 2024/2025. Her first institutional solo show, 'An Alterable Terrain,' took place at Tate Britain in 2023-4. Dillon's international exhibitions include venues like the American Academy of Arts and Letters and Palais de Tokyo. The exhibition's title draws inspiration from a quote by Dionne Brand regarding trace and language.
