architecture-design · 2026-10-14

A house from 1958, crafted by Jean Prouvé and Claude, has been restored and relocated from Epfig, Alsace, to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, where it can be rented overnight through Les Maisons CAB. Hubert Bonnet acquired the property in December 2021, managing its disassembly in 2022 and subsequent restoration in Nancy. Spanning 115 square meters, the residence includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a metal exterior complemented by wood and stone interiors, showcasing pieces by Prouvé, Perriand, Le Corbusier, and Nakashima. Bonnet owns approximately a dozen properties. The Prouvé house is available for rent alongside Le Clos du Père François, with pricing upon request. Additionally, an exhibition titled “Jean Prouvé, inventeur de maisons” is currently on display at Fondation CAB in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
