Renoir and Love at London's National Gallery Sets Advance Ticket Record
The National Gallery in London is set to host the Renoir and Love exhibition, which will be open from 3 October until 31 January 2027. More than 22,000 tickets have already been sold, with sales commencing on 4 August for members and on 25 August for the general public, breaking the previous record of 15,654 tickets held by the 2024 Van Gogh exhibition. This showcase includes 45 pieces by Renoir, such as Dance at the Moulin de la Galette (1876), marking the first dedicated Renoir exhibition at the gallery since 2007. It is being organized in collaboration with the Musée d'Orsay and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where it will move in February 2027. Renoir's art has encountered criticism and theft, with recent incidents reported in Parma and Nice.
