RCA Design Students Present One Tool, One Stool at London Design Festival
As part of the London Design Festival, The Lavery in South Kensington is hosting an exhibition titled One Tool, One Stool, featuring 23 stools crafted by master's students from the Royal College of Art. Each stool is designed using a single tool and limited materials. Notable pieces include Sue Ye's creation from paint rollers, Pil Gyu Jan's pink acoustic foam stool, Mayank Patole's eight-pronged design made from rulers, Anisa Yelek's candle stool, Nymph Mongkolcheep's cubic stool adorned with wooden beads, and Vincent Schwarz's sleek metal design. The RCA highlights innovative use of materials and resourcefulness. Yelek's stool encourages contemplation on sitting.
