Vondom has unveiled the Mel collection, crafted by architect Ramón Esteve, which includes a range of upholstered sofas, lounge chairs, and side tables. These items are distinguished by their monolithic, single-stroke forms, produced through rotational molding that ensures seamless shapes without visible joints. The collection boasts a monolithic polyethylene structure offered in both matte and lacquered finishes, featuring an advanced UV8 factor that withstands 8,000 hours of Florida sunlight for lasting color. The addition of upholstery enhances comfort and texture, while the lightweight, low-density designs are notable. Esteve’s work highlights clean lines and minimalist aesthetics reminiscent of 1970s low seating. The collection debuted in 2026.
