Rafael Pavarotti: First Major Museum Retrospective at Musée des Arts Décoratifs

From October 2, 2026, to May 2, 2027, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris will present "Rafael Pavarotti, photographe," marking the first significant exhibition focused on Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti. Curated by Sébastien Quéquet, the exhibition includes over 130 photographs, featuring notable figures like Rihanna, Harry Styles, and Beyoncé. Pavarotti, born in Belém, Pará, in 1993, began his photography journey at 12 and relocated to Paris in 2025. His work, deeply influenced by Afro-Indigenous cultures, highlights models as queens and empresses while exploring themes of racial representation in fashion. A collaborator with prominent brands, he also advocates for environmental issues related to the Amazon, stating, "Color has always been more than simple pigments for me."
