Racine Carrée Social Housing by rue royale architectes
Rue royale architectes has designed the Racine Carrée social housing project, set for completion in 2026. The 5,791 m² development draws its identity from the convergence of a structured approach inspired by the spatial permutations of a Rubik's cube and a sensitive connection to the natural landscape. The project is based on the rigorous development of an ordered facade grid, placed in tension with the inherent qualities of the site, expressing a fundamental conceptual duality between geometric rationality and landscape integration. The project team includes project manager Alliade Habitat, architectural firm unes architectes, and landscape architecture firm Atelier du Trèfle. Photographs are by François Baudry.
