Project Row Houses Announces Artists for Southern Survey Biennial III
Project Row Houses in Houston has revealed the artists chosen for its third Southern Survey Biennial, showcasing talent from 13 states in the South. Juror and guest curator Jessica Hong, the Chief Curator at the Kemper Museum, selected eight artists from more than 200 entries. Featured artists include Houston’s Beatriz Bellorín, Jhanielle Brown, and Billion Tekleab, along with Carrie Iverson from North Texas, Emmanuel Massillon from Washington, D.C., and Kennedi Carter with the CAO Collective from Durham, North Carolina. Each artist will receive $5,000, and the event opens on October 3, with exhibits available until February 14, 2027.
