architecture-design · 2026-09-30

Prim Estudio has finalized the construction of Los Tigres, a 187-square-metre residence located in Villa Rosa, Argentina, along the Luján River. The house is raised on a stone base and showcases a rectangular layout oriented east-west, with a southern wall designed to shield against winds. Its architecture harmonizes with nearby agricultural structures. The perimeter is constructed from aerated concrete blocks, featuring wooden window frames and a corrugated zinc roof. At the western end, there is a covered patio, garage, and barbecue area that connect to the living spaces. The eastern section houses three bedrooms and two bathrooms, divided by another covered patio. A prominent segmental-arch window enhances the design, encouraging appreciation of the landscape. Photography by Javier Agustin Rojas; project credits include architect Julián Puyal and others.
