PRESSURE Exhibition Explores Printmaking as Pedagogy at Tin Sheds Gallery

PRESSURE: Architecture, Process and the Print Studio is an exhibition at Tin Sheds Gallery in Sydney, running from 11 June to 24 July 2026. It examines printmaking as both an artistic medium and a pedagogical tool, featuring works and materials from two studios: Sydney's Polyline Press and New York's a83. The show elevates the mechanics of craft by displaying final works alongside sketches, tools, and videos, making visible the deliberate slowness and labor-intensive processes of separation, reversal, pressure, and repetition. The gallery is temporarily transformed into a printmaking workshop.
