Pratt Manhattan Gallery Debuts 'Like everything alive that we try to hold forever' in New York

Pratt Manhattan Gallery is showcasing 'Like everything alive that we try to hold forever,' a traveling exhibition curated by Esker Foundation and produced by Independent Curators International (ICI). This exhibition includes works from seven global artists: Larry Achiampong & David Blandy (Brighton/London, UK), Diane Borsato (Guelph, Canada), Stephanie Dinkins (Brooklyn, NY), Bridget Moser (Toronto, Canada), Sondra Perry (Perth Amboy, NJ), and Miya Turnbull (Halifax, Canada). Their creations span photography, sculpture, and video, exploring the connection between human bodies and non-human objects. The exhibition, which first appeared in 2023 at Esker Foundation in Calgary, was also displayed at the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts before arriving at Pratt Manhattan Gallery on 14th Street, where it will run from September 25 to December 19, 2026, with an opening reception on September 24 from 6–8pm. The gallery, located at 144 West 14th Street, New York, NY, is free to the public, supported by ICI's Board of Trustees and members of ICI's International Forum.
