PoliLam Launches Milano Impressions HPL Surface Collection

architecture-design · 2026-06-17

US brand PoliLam has introduced Milano Impressions, a high-pressure laminate surface collection that replicates the look and texture of Italian stone and terrazzo. The line includes 12 patterns ranging from veined marbles to expressive terrazzos, achieved through custom embossing plates that press resin-saturated kraft paper under heat and pressure. The HPL features a high-density core with a transparent overlay for wear, scuff, and water resistance, plus chemical and heat resistance. Suitable for countertops, cabinetry, doors, walls, and backsplashes, the collection includes finishes such as Denovo Lava, inspired by dark volcanic stone from Mount Vesuvius, Alessia Marble, Kahlani, and Bella Concrete. The product is available via PoliLam's website.
