Poik Stanley Wilcox Architects' The Landing at Evermore Resort

The Landing, a 31,000-square-foot facility for guest amenities at the Evermore resort in Orlando, Florida, was crafted by Poik Stanley Wilcox Architects and finalized in 2024. This building serves as the central hub for social and operational activities in the resort's South Beach section, connecting an eight-acre freshwater lagoon with the golf offerings. It features spaces for dining, fitness, gaming, a market, and a bar, acting as a bridge between the beach and golf experiences. Previously known as the Grand Cypress Resort, this destination, designed by Jack Nicklaus, has been transformed into a family-friendly alternative to conventional park accommodations. Evermore is located near Disney World, offering close proximity to key attractions. The design team included lead architects Reese Rowland FAIA, Wendell Kinzler AIA, and Laura Hendrix ASID, with photography by Timothy Hursley and Chad Baumer.
