POET-LAB Unveils Spring/Summer 2027 Collection REMEMBER, Inspired by Albania and Muse Elton Ilirjani
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection from POET-LAB, named REMEMBER, is inspired by Albanian culture and the influence of Elton Ilirjani. Designer Giuseppe Iaciofano showcases Albania's industrial scenery and brutalist structures, presenting garments that juxtapose starkness with twists, slips, and asymmetrical cuts. The collection begins with black items, such as a sheer dress layered over black mesh and a flowing gown. Notable pieces include a fitted top with crumpled details, a corset-style top adorned with fringe, and a shaggy black jacket. Following these are a large white off-the-shoulder dress and a white asymmetric top paired with a silver skirt. The finale features silver outfits, highlighting themes of gender fluidity and memory. Contributions came from photographer Marcus Hartelt and videographer Adam Cripps, with text by Lewis Robert Cameron.
