Plinth House 2 by Luke Stanley Architects: A New Addition to a Rural Australian Triptych

architecture-design · 2026-08-31

Plinth House 2, designed by Luke Stanley Architects, is the latest addition to a trio of projects in the serene Langdons Hill area, situated south of Daylesford, Australia. Finished in 2023, this home covers 227 square meters and was managed by Miwa Negoro. Luke Stanley, the principal architect, led the design, while Arc Design + Build took on the construction and Onbeam Engineering provided structural support. This project builds on a 2014 renovation of the main house, which earned accolades for its stunning views, and a Guest Pod completed in 2017. The residence features products from brands like Bosch, Brightgreen, Caroma, Phoenix, and Tide Design, with photography by Tess Kelly, beautifully blending into the Langdons Hill landscape.
