Plazma Architecture Studio Designs Guesthouse on Curonian Spit

Plazma Architecture Studio has designed a guesthouse named 'Postal route' in Juodkrantė, Lithuania, on the Curonian Spit. The project, curated by Nina Vuga, covers 770 m² and is expected to be completed in 2026. The site includes three buildings: a main 'homestead-postal station' building and two auxiliary structures, arranged in a traditional homestead layout with the main building along the street and auxiliary buildings perpendicular and deeper within the plot. The design references the historical postal route that operated along the Curonian Spit coastline during the 17th and 18th centuries. Lead architects are Rytis Mikulionis and Dalia Treinytė.
