PLATAFORMArq's House #474: A Tectonic Fold in the Portuguese Landscape

House #474, designed by PLATAFORMArq, is a 220 m² residential project completed in 2025 in Portugal. The architecture is described as a 'tectonic fold,' featuring a singular, organic geometry that folds over the mountain landscape. Lead architects Paulo Borges and Pedro Leitão led the design, with João Saraiva on the design team and Mónica Cordeiro as technical team member. The house uses materials from Technal, Trespa, Revigrés, and Roca. Photographs by João Saraiva document the project.
