Phoebe Philo's Celine Alumni Lead Major Fashion Houses

Several designers who worked under Phoebe Philo during her influential tenure at Celine have advanced to leadership positions at prominent fashion brands. Drew Henry recently became the creative director at Courrèges, having previously interned at Celine after graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2014, worked at Phoebe Philo's own label, and served as a senior design director at Burberry under Daniel Lee. Daniel Lee, who was a design director at Celine from 2012 to 2018, later led Bottega Veneta before becoming creative director at Burberry in 2022. Matthieu Blazy, a senior designer at Celine from 2014 to 2016, succeeded Lee at Bottega Veneta and was appointed artistic director of Chanel in 2024.
