Personal Structures returns to Venice with 150 artists exploring migration and movement

The eighth edition of Personal Structures, hosted by the European Cultural Centre Italy, commenced in Venice at Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Bembo, and Marinaressa Gardens, coinciding with the Venice Biennale. Founded in 2002 by René Rietmeyer, the exhibition showcases over 150 artists from over 30 nations under the theme 'Confluences.' Notable works include William Kentridge's tapestries, J. Oscar Molina's 'Cartographies of the Displaced' representing El Salvador, and embroidered panels created by sixty women in refugee camps, coordinated by Faisal Saleh. Additionally, Palazzo Bembo features 'Relational Logic – Beyond Dualism' by B-OWND, which includes a bamboo installation by Tanabe Chikuunsai IV. The exhibition is open until 22 November 2026 and admission is free.
