PENZISBETTINI Architekten completes Escuela Cantonal de Limmattal extension

PENZISBETTINI Architekten has completed the extension of the Escuela Cantonal de Limmattal in Switzerland, adding an auditorium, gymnasiums, science classrooms, and a cafeteria. The project, covering 14,000 square meters, was completed in 2024 for the State of Zurich, Department Canton of Zurich. The new volumes are described as 'pearls on a thread,' stepping down toward the street to define the campus and create a generous outdoor plaza.
