Pedrali Pavilion Transformed into Permanent Community Hub in Bergamo

architecture-design · 2026-10-08

Originally constructed as a temporary installation for Pedrali's 60th anniversary in 2023, the Pedrali Pavilion has now become a permanent fixture at the company's headquarters in Mornico al Serio, Bergamo, Italy. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and AMDL CIRCLE, it showcased the exhibition 'Pedrali60, we design a better future.' This pavilion measures 50m x 12m x 9m and is built from PEFC-certified spruce wood, featuring a new brass roof while maintaining the original shingle dimensions. The ground level hosts a showroom for outdoor collections by DWA Design Studio, and the upper floor contains an auditorium. Climate control is managed by a geothermal system, complemented by Luserna stone paving and green seating in the landscape, reinforcing Pedrali's commitment to cultural initiatives and community engagement.
