Pau de Solà-Morales Serra: Architect Bridging Design and Technology

Pau de Solà-Morales Serra (Barcelona, 1968) is a Spanish architect, theorist, and educator recognized for his research at the intersection of architectural design and information technologies. He currently serves as president of ArquinFAD, the Architecture and Interior Design Association of Foment de les Arts i del Disseny, a key role in Catalonia's cultural and professional design scene. His academic background combines Barcelona's tradition with American avant-garde: he graduated as an architect and urbanist in 1993 from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. With a Fulbright scholarship, he earned a master's in design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), where he also obtained his Doctorate in Design in 2000, combining studies with stays at the institution.
