Patrick Brammall and Brendan Cowell on Apple TV's Last Seen: 'It works in a way that we don't expect'
The inaugural original scripted series from Apple TV, titled Last Seen, is set to debut its first two episodes on 9 September, followed by weekly releases. Patrick Brammall portrays Ian Ridley, a former detective whose world is turned upside down when his daughter Maggie goes missing. Eleven years later, a child's remains are discovered, and a teenage girl makes an emergency call to him. Co-starring Brendan Cowell as Henry Reid, the cast also includes Maxine Peake and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes. Directed by Christian Schwochow and written by Kris Mrksa, the series is based on a novel from East Texas. Both Brammall and Cowell highlight the show's focus on psychological realism and character development, with Brammall drawing from his own experiences as a father.
