Paris Gallery Shows for the Rentrée: Johan Creten at Perrotin Among Five Free Exhibitions

Five free exhibitions in Parisian galleries mark the end of the summer holidays and the start of the cultural rentrée. Among the selections are shows spanning painting, sculpture and Surrealism, with subjects ranging from Maurice Denis to Leonora Carrington and previously unseen letters written by Nadja to André Breton. One highlighted presentation is Johan Creten's "Les chiens de Pavlov," on view at Galerie Perrotin in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris from 5 September 2026 to 10 October 2026. The exhibition is listed at the gallery's address at 75003 Paris. The roundup, published by Beaux Arts, gathers free exhibitions to see in Paris galleries at the moment of the rentrée.
