Paris-B Opens New Space with Artur Grucela's 'Whispers from the undergrowth'
Paris-B is set to inaugurate its space with "Whispers from the undergrowth," marking the first solo showcase in France for Polish artist Artur Grucela, who was born in 1987 and resides in Wroclaw. The exhibition will open on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 5pm to 8pm. Grucela’s art fuses realism with dreams, depicting solitary male figures within surreal landscapes. He predominantly works with oil on canvas, delving into themes of escape, melancholy, and the bond with nature. A largely self-taught artist, he is inspired by myth, allegory, and the history of art, especially influenced by Romantic painters and Flemish masters. Grucela has previously shown his work at Miligram, POCO, and Galerie Soto, gaining recognition in Belgium, particularly at Galerie Edji.
