Paris Autumn 2026: From Cassatt and Warhol to Mahama, a Season of Blockbuster Shows

The Grand Palais will host the fifth edition of Art Basel Paris from 23 to 25 October 2026. A retrospective dedicated to Mary Cassatt (1844-1926) is on view at the Musée d'Orsay until 31 January 2027. The Musée Bartholdi is showcasing a reconstruction of Auguste Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty project, which includes a virtual-reality component, until the same date. Jenny Holzer's exhibition, J'AI VU, runs through 21 February 2027. From 16 September 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Musée du Luxembourg displays works by Andy Warhol. The Palais de Tokyo features Toi et ta bande from 21 October 2026 to 14 February 2027. The Louvre will exhibit Zurbarán alongside Spanish sculpture until 25 January 2027 and will launch Louvre Photo on 4 November 2026. Additional exhibitions include Lubaina Himid at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris and Kurt Schwitters at the Musée national Picasso-Paris, both continuing into early 2027.
