Paris and Rome Mark 70 Years of Twinning with Exhibitions and a Concert
Paris and Rome are commemorating their 70-year alliance, which began on January 30, 1956, through a series of cultural initiatives. A key event is the exhibition titled "Paris Rome, une amitié historique," which will be held at Charles de Gaulle Airport from June 18, 2026, until January 5, 2027, in Terminal 2E – Hall M, showcasing pieces from the Carnavalet collection at no cost. Another highlight is "Éternel Tintoret" at the Musée Jacquemart-André, displaying 40 artworks from September 11, 2026, to January 24, 2027. A concert on September 26 at Église Saint-Germain-des-Prés will feature works by Vivaldi and Schubert.
