Pardini Hall Architecture Reveals The Meadows Boutique Hotel in the Cotswolds, UK

architecture-design · 2026-10-01

Situated in the Cotswolds, UK, The Meadows is a luxurious hotel, upscale restaurant, and boutique accommodation, featuring a modern extension and material-focused renovation designed by Pardini Hall Architecture. Spanning 1580 sqm, this project was initiated by a select group of clients aiming for a rural escape that blends seamlessly with nature. Emphasizing sustainability, it incorporates local materials to minimize carbon footprint, solar panels on a glazed link connecting two stone structures, and efficient water management through rainwater collection and greywater recycling for irrigation. The garden plays a vital role, with expansive glazed bifold doors leading to an outdoor courtyard and a garden-to-table dining concept. Inside, a stone wall fireplace and integrated oak shelving provide a cozy atmosphere. The design was submitted through designboom's DIY feature and edited by Christina Vergopoulou.
