Paolo Conte's Paintings on View in Paris
The Italian Cultural Institute in Paris is hosting 'Paolo Conte. Original', the first Parisian exhibition dedicated to the painterly work of the celebrated singer-songwriter from Asti. Curated by Manuela Furnari, the show brings together around seventy works on paper created between 1957 and 2023, many previously unseen. Alongside these pieces, the exhibition features selected plates from 'Razmataz', Conte's multimedia project set in 1920s Paris and infused with jazz influences. The display alternates drawing and color, irony and imagination, revealing a lesser-known yet coherent facet of Conte's artistic vision. The exhibition runs until September 4.
