Palazzo Gucci reopens in Florence with Demna-curated exhibition
The Palazzo Gucci in Florence has reopened with Demna at the helm, showcasing its inaugural exhibition called 'Gucci Storia'. This historic 14th-century building, which used to be the Gucci Museo and Gucci Garden, now offers a unique collection curated by Demna. Guests can see tapestries that celebrate Gucci's 105-year history, first revealed at Fuorisalone in Milan, along with rooms filled with Catherine Opie’s photographs from Demna’s debut collection, an 'Archivio' of historical items, a cinema for short films, and a digital 'oracle'.
