Palais de Tokyo's 'NORMES CORPS' Explores Fragility as Creative Force
The Palais de Tokyo in Paris, led by president Guillaume Désanges, will host 'NORMES CORPS', an exhibition series running from April 3 to September 13, 2026. This season aims to challenge ableism and frames vulnerability as a universal aspect of humanity. Notable works include Jesse Darling's 'Les Ambassadeurs', Joseph Grigely's 'This Is Where We Are', and Lassana Sarre's 'Globale Inversion Inversion'. Benoît Piéron's 'Vernis à Ombres' showcases psychedelic street lamps inspired by his intersex identity. Cathy de Monchaux will present her first major retrospective in France, 'Studio, Wounds and Battles. Desire is the Reiteration of Hope', featuring over fifty pieces. Pauline Curnier Jardin's 'Virages Vierges' includes the film 'Fat to Ashes' and a partnership with the Feel Good Cooperative, while the collective exhibition pays tribute to Cheryl Marie Wade (1948-2013). Neïla Czermak Ichti's work explores domestic monsters through drawings and textiles.
