Palace Coffee: A 43m² Espresso Bar in Melbourne's Monaco House
Palace Coffee, a 43-square-meter espresso bar designed by Kerry Kounnapis Architecture Practice, opened in 2024 in a Melbourne laneway at the base of Monaco House, adjacent to the brick wall of the Melbourne Club. The no-seating, stand-only cafe specializes in espresso and was curated by Miwa Negoro. The project involved architect Kerry Kounnapis, lighting by Solstice Lighting, steel by Severn Smith Steel, construction by Tribeca Design, and equipment by La Marzocco.
