Oyler Wu Collaborative to Design National Taiwan Museum of Comics in Taichung
The National Taiwan Museum of Comics, a massive 203,000 sq. ft. venture started by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture back in 2017, has chosen Oyler Wu Collaborative, SU Mao Ping Architecture Studio, and JN Architects as the winners of an international design competition. It's set to open this year and boasts a design with a ground floor that promotes openness and a façade decorated with comic-inspired graphics. In other news, several European countries, including Portugal, France, and Spain, faced extreme heat during the UN's World Environment Day. Additionally, OMA has completed the Hangzhou Prism in China, BIG has launched the EVE Music Hall in Croatia, and Herzog & de Meuron is set to revamp the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. Don't forget, 3daysofdesign is coming back to Copenhagen from June 10-12!
