Our Legacy opens renovated London flagship on Silver Place

Swedish fashion brand Our Legacy has opened a renovated flagship store at 1-2 Silver Place in London's Soho, expanding into two connected storefronts. Founded in 2005 by Jockum Hallin, Cristopher Nying, and Richardos Klarén, the label has long blended Scandinavian restraint with countercultural energy. The original Silver Place location opened in 2014 as the brand's first international outpost. In 2025, sales surpassed $50 million and LVMH Luxury Ventures took a minority stake. The renovation was led by Stockholm-based architectural agency Profan, founded by Anton Kolbe and Disa Braunerhielm. The interior combines clinical, laboratory-like elements—stainless steel, mirrors, fibreglass, strip lighting—with materials meant to age: beeswax-coated silk curtains by Japanese textile artist Akane Moriyama, and birch and pine flooring. Artworks include Tobias Bradford's 'Nosedive' sculpture and a curated selection of fan zines from BlackMass Publishing and Swedish publication Jazz är farligt. German photographer Rut Blees Luxemburg was commissioned to capture 'nocturnal London' in a postcard series. The brand now operates eight retail stores and over 250 worldwide stockists. Commercial director Oliver Saunders called the expansion 'a reinvestment in community' and 'a celebration of everything we've built over the past 12 years.'
