Original Iron Man debut page from 1963 to be auctioned by Heritage Auctions
Heritage Auctions is set to present the original debut page of Iron Man from Tales of Suspense No. 39, published in March 1963, during its forthcoming Comic Art Signature Auction and Comic Books Signature Auction scheduled for July 9 to 12. This artwork marks the introduction of Tony Stark's superhero persona and is part of a collection of valuable comic book items. The Comic Book Art auction on July 10 and 12 will showcase original pieces by legendary creators such as Joe Shuster, Alex Schomburg, Larry Lieber, Jack Kirby, and Charles Schulz. Meanwhile, the Comic Books auction on July 9 and 11 features seven of the top ten most valuable Golden Age comics and nine of the top ten Silver Age comics, according to the 2026 Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, including a CGC 4.5 copy of Action Comics No. 1.
