Orient Express Unveils World's Largest Sailing Yacht with Art Deco Interior

In May 2026, the Corinthian, the inaugural yacht from Accor's two Orient Express sailing vessels, set sail on her first journey. Measuring 721.8 feet, she is claimed to be the largest sailing yacht globally, utilizing sail-assisted electric propulsion. Architect Maxime d'Angeac designed the interior, reflecting the Art Deco legacy of Orient Express, featuring original train elements like vintage lights and luggage racks. A 20-seat cinema showcases a carpet inspired by Suzanne Lalique's floral glass panels. European artisans provided materials, including wood embroidery by Jean Brieuc and engraved crystal lights by Franck Benito. The spa, the first at sea by Guerlain, includes a hammam and sauna, while the yacht offers 54 guest cabins, including the expansive 2,422-square-foot Agatha Christie suite. Guests can also access a professional recording studio, a hidden whisky speakeasy, and five Michelin-starred restaurants led by executive chef Yannick Alléno. With three 30-foot masts and carbon fiber-reinforced glass sails crafted by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the yacht accommodates 110 guests and 170 crew members. Accor partnered with LVMH in June 2024, with LVMH acquiring a 50% interest in Orient Express. The Corinthian's itineraries include the French and Italian Riviera during summer and the Caribbean in winter.
