Orchidea Agency's Flat Illustration System for Swan Soda Packaging

Orchidea Agency, located in Barcelona, has created a unique packaging system for Swan, a brand of natural soda water. The design features flat illustration blobs and a custom sans-serif wordmark. Each of the eight 200ml clear glass bottles represents a different flavor, with organic shapes reflecting their botanical ingredients: rhubarb is depicted as a magenta-and-green stalk, ginger as an amber root, and Nut Cola's walnut as a terracotta body accented with green. The large illustrations on white labels enhance the design’s clarity. The lowercase 'swan' wordmark, in black sans-serif, includes refined terminals on the 'S' and 'A' that subtly suggest the bird. Pill-shaped neck labels in vibrant colors display 'SODA' rotated, becoming readable only when bottles are grouped. The studio successfully maintained brand cohesion while differentiating the eight SKUs by keeping the illustration scale consistent while altering shape and color. The project is presented on Behance, with the white label standing out against cerulean blue and warm sand backgrounds, without the use of embossing or foil.
