Opéra-Comique Presents Stravinsky and Benjamin Double Bill at Théâtre de Gennevilliers
With its Salle Favart closed for renovation, the Opéra-Comique relocates to the Théâtre de Gennevilliers for a double bill running 8–16 November 2026. The evening pairs L'Histoire du soldat with Into the Little Hill, staged as two parables in a single surtitled opera performance. Stravinsky's soldier sells his violin to the devil; the second work follows a flute player who leads an entire town's children away. Performances are scheduled Sunday at 16h and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 20h, with a running time of 2h. Tickets range from 12 to 40 euros. The venue is located in the 92 department. The production is listed among the publication's weekly cultural highlights.
