Omrania has designed the Arriyadh Western Metro Station in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as an intermodal transit hub that goes beyond a typical train station. The 40,000-square-meter project, set for completion in 2026, integrates bus and light rail connections, a vegetable marketplace, and cultural elements to attract non-transit users and generate real-estate value. The lead architect is Mahmoud Abughazal, with a team including Bassem Al Shihabi, Raed Alkhateeb, Hugh Kidman, and Jamal Qsous. Structural and MEP engineering is by One Works CREW, with additional consulting by IDOM. The project is overseen by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
