Omar Gandhi Architects and Brodye Chappell Complete Corrugated Metal House and Studio on Prince Edward Island

A two-part residence and workshop clad in corrugated metal has been completed on Prince Edward Island, Canada, by Omar Gandhi Architects in collaboration with furniture maker Brodye Chappell. The property sits in Marshfield, an agricultural area just outside Charlottetown, and is described as touching lightly on its surroundings. The project pairs a house with a dedicated workshop for Chappell, whose furniture practice is accommodated in the second volume. Omar Gandhi Architects, based in Canada, is led by architect Omar Gandhi. The commission is titled the Chappell Residence. The design is characterised by a striking silhouette, with the corrugated metal facade giving the two structures a unified exterior treatment against the rural landscape. Photography of the completed project documents both the exterior and interior spaces across a gallery of images. The house and studio are the latest in a series of residential works by the firm, which has become known for houses sited in rugged Canadian landscapes. The project was published by Dezeen on 14 October 2026.
