OLI Architecture Completes Diageo's First Chinese Whisky Distillery
OLI Architecture has completed the YunTuo Distillery, Diageo's first single malt whisky distillery in China. Located in the Dali valley of Yunnan Province at an altitude of approximately 2,100 metres, the 18,726 m² facility sits adjacent to the Sanye Spring natural water source. The design translates the mountain setting, local craft traditions, and whisky-making programme into a contemporary architectural experience. The project was completed in 2025 and photographed by Fangfang Tian, YunTuo, and Yilong Zhao.
