OKKA Architects Complete Stone House and Beeyard in Hungary's Balaton Uplands
Completed in 2024 in Hungary's Balaton Uplands, a residence and beeyard by OKKA architects spans 81 m² on a site that previously held a deteriorated stone house and two small outbuildings. One of those outbuildings served as a traditional "Beeyard" for storing beehives. The landscape is defined by small rural houses built from local stone. Péter Szabó DLA and Emese Galamb are the lead architects, with Szabó DLA also named on the design team and Galamb on the lead team. Nina Vuga curated the project presentation, and Balázs Danyi photographed it. The work falls under the Residential Architecture and Houses categories.
