Of-A's Slow Dream wins Floristry Ambassadors' Award at Chelsea Flower Show

Multidisciplinary studio Of-A presented Slow Dream, a dark botanical landscape installation at the 2026 Chelsea Flower Show. The work features volcanic rock, burnt trees, and delicate flowers within a hemispherical metal structure fabricated by Kingston Rigging. It is the second in Of-A's 'garden objects' series, following Moon Garden at Frieze Week London 2025. The installation was part of the Floristry Laboratory programme, created in collaboration with floral artists Wagner Kreusch and Frida Kim. Slow Dream won the Floristry Ambassadors' Award. Of-A co-founders Raluca Grada-Emandi and Laura Lim Sam describe the garden as an emotional and spatial condition, blending geological and futuristic elements. The dark palette, volcanic rock from Iceland, and plants like Himalayan blue poppies and cobra lilies evoke a dreamlike atmosphere. Of-A operates between the UK and Iceland.
