OASIS Student Residence by ATELIER STEPHANE FERNANDEZ Planned for Nice's Plaine du Var

ATELIER STEPHANE FERNANDEZ has designed OASIS, a student residence of 4500 m² in the Plaine du Var, a transitional landscape between the city, the river, the Mediterranean and the hills of Nice. The project is sited at the meeting point of the Grand Parc Méridia and the Avenue de l'Université, where it stages a dialogue between human settlement and nature, urban density and living systems. Nina Vuga curated the project presentation. STEPHANE FERNANDEZ leads the team as principal architect. The architecture project is dated 2026. Photographs of the scheme were taken by Vladimir de Mollerat du Jeu. The programme falls under residential architecture, social housing and coliving. The description was submitted by the project team.
