NOÛS Festival at BnF Explores AI as Revealer of Hidden Knowledge Through Eight Artistic Projects

The NOÛS – art & IA festival will debut from April 9 to 19, 2026, at the Bibliothèque nationale de France's François-Mitterrand location in Paris, showcasing eight artistic projects powered by AI. Audrey Large's piece, "title tbd Sculpture," delves into historical witchcraft trials and medical texts, while Justine Emard's immersive pavilion utilizes AI imagery from Gallica's collections to explore mermaids. The collective Obvious presents a fresco featuring fictional plants that tackle ecological concerns. This free festival, organized by Fisheye magazine and BnF-Partenariats, includes performances and discussions on the intersection of technology and art. The exhibition operates daily from 10am to 7pm, and from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays, excluding Mondays, and complements the BnF's "Cartes imaginaires" exhibition.
