Notations Lab & Festival 2026 Opens in Yerevan with Rituals Theme

On 20 July 2026, Yerevan hosted the second edition of the Notations Lab & Festival, which brought together 110 participants, including 89 artists chosen through an international open call and 21 curators. This twelve-day laboratory will delve into the theme of "Rituals." Following the lab, a two-day public festival is scheduled for 1–2 August, where newly created works will be presented. The event is organized by hosq (հոսք), a nonprofit creative hub based in Yerevan that fosters interdisciplinary artistic practice and is a recent addition to the European Creative Hubs Network. The focus of the 2026 edition is on rituals as effective tools for innovation, emphasizing structured actions that influence our understanding of time and space.
