Nota Estudio expands Dum Dum restaurant concept to Madrid's Infanta Mercedes street

Architects Juliette Abello and Rebeka Németh of Nota Estudio have designed the new Dum Dum Bernabéu restaurant in Madrid. The project represents an evolution from the original 30 m² Chamberí location to a larger 45 m² space on Infanta Mercedes street. Completed in 2026, the architectural challenge involved scaling up while preserving the original refuge-like atmosphere. The design maintains the brand's playful character through material honesty and geometric rigor. Valentina Díaz served as curator for the project. Photography was handled by Nota Estudio. The expansion demonstrates how a compact gastronomic concept can successfully transition to a more complex functional space.
